I understand the impact of mental health challenges and life's hurdles, such as trauma, grief, self-esteem issues, and relationship difficulties, on your well-being. As a therapist, I'm passionate about helping people heal from various traumas and grief. If you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or dependency on others, I'm here to assist you in reshaping negative thought patterns and finding your true self.
How can I help?
As a therapist, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to explore and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs that have emerged from our childhood or trauma. By reframing these thoughts, we promote healthier perspectives and coping strategies. I use a variety of techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to recognize the mind-body connection, release stored trauma, build self-intimacy, and cultivate safety. Lastly, I assist clients in developing emotional regulation and coping skills, many of which we did not receive in childhood.
I invite you to reach out.
Whether you seek to quiet your "inner critic", acquire coping strategies, or explore your traumatic experiences on a deeper level, I'm here to provide the support you need throughout your journey.
I've learned how trauma touches all parts of a human: physically, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. As a Certified Trauma Professional and training in grief processing and EMDR, I am dedicated to providing personalized support on each client's healing journey.
I offer 50 minutes appointments in person, telehealth, or walk & talk. I am out-of-network or private pay but can provide you a superbill to give your insurance for reimbursement.
